Saturday

Heading out meeting friends locally casual venue. Warm evening eating outside. Wearing white jeans "Iris and Ink", teamed with "Alexander Wang" long tank, large patent "Dior" vintage tote, laced up "Stewart Weitzmann" heels. Alexis Bittar bangles and and earrings and a crop jacket by "Antonio Berardi".
It's rather lively at the Salt House tonight. The Yorkshire Cricket team fresh from defeat to Middlesex at Lords Cricket Ground are having a splendid time celebrating. Strange!

Finished dinner at Salt House heading to The Library club. Just been suggested I try Gin with ice cube infused with lemon zest and rosemary- this is a first! Rather too strong. Think i'll try this at home, I'll tweak it adding hibiscus bitters and sugar sirup.

Saturday shopping

Thank goodness it's weekend... Heading for the gym! Probably doing a Les Mills Body Pump one hour killer class.
Leaving Virgin Active to go straight to Oxford Street, popping into Zara to search for a cropped top/blouse to wear with a high waisted skirt. I have exhausted every designer for crop tops. I absolutely love "Elizabeth and James", managed to acquire most of their lovely collection. Unfortunately nothing in Zara....
Decided to pop into Selfridges for my Dior foundation "Capture totale". This foundation transforms and feeds the skin, such an amazing product! Trying out the new Dior "crayon conture Lèvres" lip pencil "brown fig". Head over to Guerlain for "Maxi Lash", love the brush and mascara formula, best I have ever used.

Thursday

Having dinner with friends at Yashin Ocean House in Old Brompton Road. Rather disappointed, the food was lack lustre with tiny portions. Apparently this place used rock- nothing moved for me! Left feeling rather hungry...
We went to Arts Club afterwards, a perfect place to hang, great live band and DJ- not to mention the four restaurants, including "Kubi" a great Japanese with a super roof terrace. I know where I should have eaten.
The Arts clubs was heaving, so much fun! I soon forgot about the food earlier.

I wore a "Philipp Lim" Sage green / olive leather skirt. Alexandra Wang tanktop. Teamed up with two shield disk "China style" belts. "Wolford" black stitch diamond on nude tights, absolutely love them! Last but not least, "Charlotte Olympia" peep toe leopard heel. Mixed this look up- opposites do attract.
Accessorized with "Alex Bittar" cuff and earrings. My pearl white "Chanel" Classic was perfect.

Wednesday's

Helmut Lang dress // Stella McCartney Jacket // Louis Vuitton Handbag // Wolford tights// YSL shoes

Last night a cocktail party at the newly refurnished Lanesborough Hotel. This hotel doesn't rock like a Philipp Starck hotel. The neo-baroque style with a hint of Louis XIV is not my taste. The hotel stands alone in its opulence, fine luxurious place to stay with elegant dinning and famous afternoon tea.
I wore a "Helmut Lang" white and black shift split back dress with split back as well and a "Stella McCartney" cropped jacket. Love my new Wolford "Darleene Boot" tights in black/ 60den. Paired with my "Louis Vuitton" snake handbag. Yves Saint Laurent and t-bar shoes with a snaked toe.
London fashion week is about to start. Headed to Sanderson London afterwards for a last drink, this hotel truly it rocks!

Iris Apfel style

Adore to put together something inspired by a legend. I found two wonderful turquoise necklaces at a charity shop in London "Sue Ryder". The great style icon and legend Iris Apfel, who has inspired the greatest designers of our generation in past and present. She is glorious 94 years young. Read her book, watch her documentary, its a must!
She layered huge turquoise necklaces together- no holding back! When I met her at her charity event at Annabel's nightclub London. Iris loves to rummage around charity shop, so do I. Where else can you find those treasures. "Preloved" as I call.  My attempt was to pull of the Iris look! I just needed more charity turquoise necklaces to achieve the density and weight.
With my turquoise necklaces I combined a "TIBI" flaired crop top with white "Rebecca Taylor" mini skirt, old gold "Michael Kors" peep-toe heels. Lots and lots of "Alexis Bittar" bangles, all from his lucite range and of course "Alexis Bittar" earrings.

Cat in Hermes

It's been a long morning for PinkiWinki. Lucky my little model lives with me, I know her so well! Please ignore the bored expression, she did not suffer at all for this shoot!
Stying her today in lovely silk Hermes scarfs, so chic! The colours are fab even with tabby fur!
She is beautiful and very patient with me, a gentle kitten as always. Love!
